    Grant Pauls is a Tahltan Nation artist well known for his intricate cut-out silver and gold jewellery. He studied with renowned carver, Terrence Campbell from Prince Rupert, BC. Grant uses a combination of different jewellery making techniques to produce his Tahltan pieces with a modern flare.

  • The Three Watchman Symbol in Indigenous Art

    The Three Watchmen are supernatural beings who look out for danger, usually to warn a chieftain or societal leader figure. This symbol comes from the Haida Peoples. Over time, this symbols has been adapted by artists to speak to contemporary dangers related to colonialism. No matter who the Watchmen are guarding or what they're guarding them from, this powerful symbol expresses great protection for the wearer.
